Fed up of sunbathing and swimming whilst on holiday have you ever thought of sampling some other activities. Try just a few of our other exciting pastimes on offer.
In the natural and extensive woodlands above Limassol visitors can enjoy a wide range of different activities - some are relaxing and some more energetic. Everyone will benefit from the healthy rural atmosphere, the peaceful environment well away from the colourful bustle of the towns. Choose any of activities below and leave the organisation to us.
Take the Buggy Trail................. The Perfect way to explore...
The battery-operated ecological buggies provide a unique mode of transport to explore the area, taking in the different points of interest and the natural beauty of the area.
There is the chance to rest awhile and feed our beautiful Japanese Koi Carp fish in the natural lake and to visit the pretty little chapel of Santa Marina which is over 500 years old and was built by the Venetians. The chapel commands a spectacular view over the countryside.
Further points of interest
- The Stud Farm which is one of the largest on the island with 250+ horses. Enjoy driving past the foals, the mares and the riding and racing horses - which include Cypriot and Greek Champion Show Jumpers.
- The work of the stables which includes the horses being groomed and trained for races and in the summer, the chance to see the horses enjoying a well-earned swim.
- The chapel of Santa Marina is a national monument over 500 years old that has recently been renovated and offers a panoramic view of our training racetrack and natural lake.
- The marked nature trails that point out the beautiful natural flora and fauna of the Cypriot countryside.
Archery
Archery is also on offer at the centre with facilities catering to all levels of experience and equipment available for hire at the clubhouse. If you would like to have a go - there are targets and a 100 metre practice field with the tuition also available for beginners. Enthusiasts of archery can practice with targets in the 100m practice field.

Horse Riding
Horse riding is available for riders of all ages and levels. The riding stables have quiet horses for beginners who are just building up their confidence and dressage horses for experienced riders.
A combination of hacks and lessons are the best recipe for a fun-packed riding holiday. Hacks are organised on a daily basis and these are usually tailor-made to suit the riders' competence lasting from half-hour to three hours.
Guests have the opportunity to ride through traditional Cypriot villages, mountainous areas and unspoilt countryside with qualified escorts.
Riders can improve their skills with a course of lessons in the arena that includes a variety of exercises.
Shooting
Spread over 200,000 square metres of pine forest, the shooting range is the ideal place to relax whilst you enjoy your shooting. It is open Tuesdays - Sunday frp, 10.00am 'til dusk.
The ranges are situated in such a way as to preserve the forest at the same time offer the marksman the best possible visibilty. The range offers the Olympic disciplines, three skeet ranges, three trap and double drap ranges, a 14 position air gun and air pistol fully air conditioned hall, as well as the non Olympic disciples Sporting-Fitasc and Down-the-line.
There are four Sporting-Fitasc layouts where the traps and the shooting positions change every week. One can shoot normal and midi clay targets, Rabbits, Battue, Rocket, Teal etc.
The traps for Skeet (BEOMAT) Trap (NASTA) and Shooting Fitasc (Laporte, Cromson) are automatic and coin-operated.
